Join us on Wednesday, October 9th from 6:30 - 8:00 pm at the Boulder Public Library for a special NCAR Explorer Series lecture with NCAR Scientist William Lipscomb for his talk “Ice Sheets and Sea Level Rise.”

Come early and explore the new NCAR Traveling Climate Exhibit which will tour the United States in the coming months! As a member university, find out about how you can request this exhibit to come to your area. If you would like to attend the free public lecture, please RSVP and we will reserve a ticket for you.

NCAR Traveling Climate Exhibit:

Our Earth’s climate is changing and scientists are working hard to share the stories of communities who are impacted by rising seas, droughts, and severe storms.  The National Center for Atmospheric Research is sharing the real stories of people across the United States through the NCAR Traveling Climate Exhibit “Real People, Real Climate, Real Changes.” Its first stop is at the Boulder Public Library, where local residents and visitors to Colorado have an opportunity to visit the exhibit.
