SECTION 2 - ETHICS AND CONDUCT
Responsible and Ethical Conduct of Research Training (RECR)
All undergraduate students, graduate students, and postdoctoral researchers participating in research at NCAR and UCP are required by the National Science Foundation (NSF) to take Responsible and Ethical Conduct of Research (RECR) training. This training is required regardless of their classification as a visitor, intern, or employee.
It is the responsibility of each lab, program, or project to make sure that the RECR training is completed. This template communication can be used by labs and programs to contact participants. Ginny Durakovich-Taylor in UCAR Human Resources supports tracking of the training. These specific guidelines are provided for labs and programs to track their particpants.
The training is available online through CITI Program. Instructions for CITI Program registration are found via EOD.
