The 2009-2010 WxChallenge Forecasting Contest starts next week. This
fun, challenging contest pits forecasters from universities across the
country, vying for city-by-city, semester, and annual honors, both
team and individual.
NCAR placed 7th out of 45 teams last year. This year we need as many
participants as possible to join in. Win trophies, earn a spot in the
Spring tourney, and show off your forecasting "luck" against other
NCAR players.
The tourney is Web-based and takes only a few minutes a day. You can
also work around extended trips, etc. No experience necessary - give
it a try and get to know some other forecasters here and around the
country.
