"Recognizing the Red Flags to Ensure Export Compliance"


Exporting controlled technical data or commodities without a license
can lead to severe civil and criminal penalties, both for the
exporting individual as well as that individual's
employer. "Recognizing the Red Flags to Ensure Export Compliance" is
intended to prevent this kind of trouble. Attendees will receive
guidance regarding which information transfers and shipments qualify
as exports and will be provided with an easy-to-use list of red flags
that will enable them to quickly recognize when they should seek
assistance from the UCAR Office of General Counsel.


*On October 22 a second seminar will be hosted at FL2, reminder
announcement will be sent out.*
