Mark your calendars for the 2006 UCAR Health Fair to be held Tuesday,
February 28, 2006, 9:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. in CG1-Auditorium. This event
is open and free to UCAR employees, visitors, retirees, their
spouses/partners and dependent children 18-25 years of age. No
registration is required. Some of the exciting events available at
the health fair include: Private Blood Screening Consultations; Blood
Pressure Screening, Cholesterol Screening; Full Blood Chemistry/
TSH/LIPID; Risk Ratios; Prostate Cancer Screening (PSA); Pulmonary
Screening; Bone Density Screening; Body Mass Analysis; Skin Cancer
Screening; Vision/ Hearing Testing; Ergonomics; Child and Elder
Care resources; Massage Therapy; Acupuncture; Nutrition and Health
Information Booths, Refreshments, Giveaways and Much, Much More!
In preparation for the health fair, register for one of the blood draw
sessions at a location near you. A 12-hour fast is required. Continue
to take any required medications and to drink plenty of water. To
