Are you upset about the politics regarding global warming? Do you want
to handle it differently?
In the board game "Keep Cool" you are a "Global Player" where every
move has to be considered carefully towards overall protection of the
climate and your own interests. Strong political groups like the
oil industry or environmental organizations determine victory or
defeat. The risks: droughts, floods and disease. The chances:
prosperity and the stability of the world.
The winner is able to reach their goals first. If you act
inconsiderately or ruthlessly... everybody loses.
"Keep Cool" is suitable for 3-6 players from 12 yrs. to adult. Text in
English and German.
The authors:
Dr. Gerhard Petschel-Held and Klaus Eisenack work in the department
of Integrated System Analysis at the Potsdam-Institute for
Climate Research. The institute was founded in 1992 and employs
approximate 120 scientists. Its research relating to climate change,
climate consequences and long term development are recognized
internationally.
A very unique gift idea that is not easy to find in the US.
