Minority Serving Institutions and Diversity Resources

A Minority-Serving Institution (MSI) is a designation by the U.S. Department of Education of a college or university, for example as a Historically Black College or University (HBCU), a Hispanic-Serving Institution (HSI), a Tribal College or University (TCU), etc. Learn more about MSIs in this eJournal USA article from the U.S. Department of State. The Department of Education maintains a list of postsecondary MSIs (colleges and universities).
