The Seminar Committee shall establish a seminar series to feature
topics of interest to the community of scientists, computer scientists,
and software engineers at UCAR involved in the application of computer
simulation, data management and exploration, and other applications of
computing in the geosciences.
In February 2006, SEA secured funding for a 2006 seminar series from
the NCAR Director's Reserve. The
kickoff event was
held on April 26 at the Mesa Lab. The SEA Seminar Committee encourages
volunteers to develop topics for the monthly seminar series. Please contact
