We also put the fruits of our work to use beyond the laboratory walls. The technologies we develop are useful to industries as diverse as aviation and computer science. We offer varied educational programs to teachers, schoolchildren, and young adults. These include workshops for teachers, weekend classes for children, and an intensive mentoring program for college students from ethnically and culturally diverse backgrounds.
