Spark Pre-College Internship (formerly HIRO)
Spark: UCAR Science Education
High School students in the spring semester of their junior or senior year and at least 16 years old by June 22 are invited to apply for a limited number of summer internships exploring careers in the atmospheric and related sciences. Investigate air pollution, severe weather, climate change, solar physics, engineering, computer programming, Web development, and other fields on the cutting edge of environmental research.

EOL Technical Internship Program
NCAR Earth Observing Laboratory
EOL TIP interns gain experience working as electronics technicians, instrument makers, field support technicians, data loading technicians, computer system help desk support, entry level programmers, or similar activities. Interns are paired with mentors and develop knowledge to help them in future science support careers.
