Registration | March 30, 2004 The Geo Forum 2004: Grand Experiences and Opportunities in the Geosciences is a unique and exciting one-day event for undergraduate students considering entering a graduate program in the geosciences. The Forum will explore opportunities and challenges in careers in the geosciences, including work in weather and climate, oceanography, seismology, geology, even public policy. Presenters include a scientist studying volcanoes on Mars, an on-air meteorologist, a Hurricane Hunter, an astronaut who has worked on the Space Station, and a climate modeler. The speakers will talk about what drew them to their careers, the surprises and rewards of their work, and the relevancy of the geosciences to society. More Info. Hosted by:
