Harold Brooks is a meteorologist and head of the Mesoscale Applications Group at the National Severe Storms Laboratory in Norman, Oklahoma. He has served as an adjunct professor in the School of Meteorology at the University of Oklahoma and currently serves on a number of committees, including the EARTHSTORM prorgam and the Atmospheric Radiation Measurement program. Dr. Brooks is a Fellow with the Cooperative Institute for Mesoscale Meterorological Studies - one of many awards and honors bestowed upon him.
