Below is a sampling of the most recent online publications from UOP’s Cooperative Program for Operational Meteorology, Education and Training (COMET). Please see the accompanying Web links for more details on each.

Understanding Marine Customers
This module is designed to introduce the marine forecaster to a spectrum of customers, providing an understanding of what is important to them and why and assisting them in creating better services.

Flood Frequency Analysis:
This module provides information about the statistical potential for floods based on either current or forecast conditions. It presents two primary applications of flood analysis: estimating the potential magnitude of a flood that can occur over a given time interval, and estimating the return period of flooding of a given magnitude.
