University involvement sought for DLESE Annual Meeting
The Digital Library for Earth System Education (DLESE) encourages university faculty to attend the 2005 DLESE Annual Meeting, to be hosted on 9-12 July by the University of South Florida College of Marine   Science in St. Petersburg. The theme of the NSF-sponsored meeting this year is "We are DLESE: Enhancing library quality for our diverse community."

In addition to research scientists, DLESE invites data providers and librarians to attend, as well as resource, collections, and library developers. Past meetings have covered strategies to expand DLESE's collection and its number of users and contributors, efforts to develop Earth science data and tools for educational use, and ways to strengthen ties between research/education and evaluation/assessment activities.

To express your interest in attending, please complete the call-for-interest form (which includes funding requests) at the URL below.
