NCAB: The Network Coordination and Advisory Board


Summary

The Network Coordination and Advisory Board is a UCAR/NCAR committee composed of technical representatives from each of the NCAR divisions and several UCAR programs. Its role is to serve in an advisory capacity to the Computational and Information Systems Laboratory's Network Engineering and Technology Section and the Information Technology Council, setting priorities, developing policies relevant to computer networking, reviewing and contributing to long-term plans and making recommendations on the apportioning of network costs.
