(1) NSF Regular includes NCAR's base or core funding including USWRP and NSWP Initiatives. UOP's funding includes UNIDATA, UNAVCO, Visiting Scientist Program, COMET, IITA, and JOSS. Also includes $7.8M in ML refurbishment funds at 9/30/00.                     

(2) Named programs includes the NCAR's High Performance Computing & Communications (HPCC) and the Global Change Research Program (USGCRP)                    

(3) Includes all the ATD Deployment Pool funds and HAO's Space Weather, CEDAR, SUNRISE programs. Also includes ATD's FASTEX, SCD's Applied Network Research and Distributed CSL, and numerous others.                     

(4) Funding for ATD's High-Performance Instrumented Airborne Platform for Environmental Research (HIAPER) received its first increment of funding.                     

(5) Includes uncommitted and committed carryover of $51.3M and $19.1M for FY01, $45.4M and $20.9M for FY00, and  $35.4M and $12.5M for FY99.
