(1) NSF Regular includes NCAR's base or core funding including USWRP and NSWP Initiatives. UOP's funding includes   UNIDATA, GST, VSP, COMET, IITA, and JOSS. Also includes $7.8M in ML refurbishment funds at 9/30/00.                 

(2) Named programs includes the NCAR's High Performance Computing & Communications (HPCC) and the Global  Change Research Program (USGCRP).

(5) Includes equity and cash value of sale of WITI Corp., a UCAR Foundation Subsidiary, to Lifeminders.com.
