Governance and Membership

Through the Board of Trustees and Members’ Committees, UCAR Members govern corporate activities and determine the overall direction of science and service to the community.

In October 2013, the Members voted to combine the Member and Affiliate levels into one membership category, effective immediately. Planning is underway to redevelop our website over the next several months, and the new site will reflect this change. In the meantime, please consult the information provided here with the understanding that all uses of "Affiliate" now encompass the roles, responsibilities, and title of full Member.
