Academic Affiliate Program

UCAR Membership is open to institutions offering Ph.D. granting programs. A continuing commitment to the advancement of atmospheric and related sciences and a commitment to active participation in the activities of the Corporation and its programs must also be evidenced.

This program, established in in 1991, was developed for colleges and universities that do not qualify for UCAR Membership. An Affiliate must be an accredited educational institution offering a B.A./B.S. degree or higher in the atmospheric and related sciences.
