PROCEDURES FOR NEW AND RENEWAL UCAR ACADEMIC AFFILIATE MEMBERSHIP CRITERIA AND APPLICATION/RENEWAL PROCEDURES Below you will find UCAR Academic Affiliate membership and application information. Initial and renewal affiliate membership applications are subject to approval by the UCAR Membership Committee. The committee meets annually in early summer. If you have questions and/or would like more information about the application process, please contact the UCAR Corporate Affairs Office (see contact information below). I. This fee partially covers the cost of administering the program and travel of the Academic Affiliate representative to Boulder to participate in the annual Academic Affiliates and UCAR Members meeting in October. If these fees preclude your institution from applying for academic affiliation, please contact Susan Friberg in the UCAR governance and membership office--303.497.1658; friberg@ucar.edu. II.
