The Blue Sky exhibit, another exhibit made for NCAR by the Exploratorium Museum, lets visitors scatter light to prove this saying is true. It uses concentrated gelatin to produce enough scattering in such a small length (less than a meter) for you to see blue. To learn more about some scientific programs at NCAR that use the scattering of light in many of their experiments, click on the Atmospheric Chemistry Divisions project website: http://www.acd.ucar.edu/init.html. |
