The Foothills Lab evening aerobics classes will once again include a Toning Class on Wednesday nights. In this popular class participants use hand weights, bands, and floor exercises for extra conditioning and fat-burning benefits. The Tuesday and Thursday class formats have been developed to offer variety as well. Tuesdays are an extended aerobic workout, and Thursdays are Circuit Training: short periods of intense aerobics alternating with weights/floor exercises. You get the benefits of both an aerobic workout and muscle strengthening. All three classes meet from 5:00-6:00. Cost is $2.50/class. A punch- card for 10 classes can be purchased for $25.

Parker artist Helen Moseman will exhibit her floral watercolors in Gallery I (second floor) of the ML from 2 to 30 October. Intense, vibrant, and dynamic, Moseman's paintings push the watercolor medium to its limit. Diane Reiss will exhibit her mixed-media series "The Web with Many Weavers" in Gallery II (cafeteria) of the ML from 2 October to 29 November. Paper sculptures and painted-canvas weavings are the artist's personal reflection on the tragedy of a daughter's abuse and on the process of healing.
