The Wellness Advisory Committee, the Maintenance Department, and Facilities Service Department announce the plans for the annual Spring Locker Cleanout. The purposes of this cleanout include: -- cleaning lockers inside and out, -- checking all mechanical parts of the locker to ensure it is safe and fully operational, and -- identifying lockers that are not in use and making them available for new users. The process requires all locker users in the FL, UN, and ML fitness centers and locker rooms to remove locks and personal items before the cleanout start time (see below). Locker users should leave the name tag or label on the lockers so they can reclaim the locker after the cleanout. Locks not removed will be cut off, any personal items will be bagged, and the name tag will be removed. These items can be claimed from Central Stores at ML and FL and from Jim Menghi at UN starting on the Monday following the cleanout. After the cleanout any lockers without a name tag or not tagged for Day Use Only are then available to any user on a first come, first serve basis. To claim a locker, place a tag or label on the locker which contains your name, phone extension, and email address. The dates and times for the locker cleanouts are listed below.
