Paste the text of your | | announcement into the body of your email message, rather than | | appended as an attachment or enclosure. | |_____________________________________________________________________| ************************************************************************ NCAR FEATURES STUDENT ART SHOWCASE Student art from schools throughout Boulder County will be showcased in NCAR's Gallery I and Gallery II from 2 to 30 April. The juried show includes works in various media and styles produced by artists at area elementary, middle, and high schools. The works on display in NCAR's galleries touch on this year's National Science Foundation (NSF) theme of "Webs, Wires, Waves." The April Student Art Showcase is part of NCAR's Earth Day and NSF's National Science and Technology Week celebrations. NCAR art exhibitions can be previewed on the World Wide Web at www.dir.ucar.edu/iss/dmc/vishome. The public is invited. For further information please call Nita Razo, ext. 8606, or Linda Carbone, ext. 8612. ************************************************************************ EAC DISCOUNT TICKETS FOR THE DENVER MUSEUM 0F NATURAL HISTORY The EAC is offering discount combo tickets to the Denver Museum of Natural History. With one ticket, you get admission to the museum, the planetarium, and the IMAX theater. These tickets will be valid until the end of 1997. The prices are as follows: Adults: $7.20 (Reg. $9) Children: $4.80 (Reg. $6) (Age 3-12) (Please note that the museum has lowered the age at which a child must have a ticket from 4 to 3.) The EAC will do a one-time purchase of these tickets. Because the EAC has to buy these tickets up front, we need a commitment from employees who wish to take advantage of this discount. If you plan to purchase tickets, please email Paula Fisher, paulad@ucar.edu, by March 28 with the following information: Your Name: Number of Adult Tickets: Number of Children's tickets: Your location (FL/ML/JEF): Unlike the Imperial Tombs tickets, you are not required to make a reservation; however, they are recommended. The reception will take place from 2:00-4:00 p.m. on Saturday, 30 March in the ML cafeteria. Klaiber has been painting on site for the last two months.
