NCAR Cooperative Theses

PhD theses written by graduate students under the guidance of an NCAR scientist may be issued as NCAR Cooperative Theses following their acceptance by the home university. Such Cooperative Theses bear NCAR's and the university's name on the cover and title page. Eligibility for a Cooperative Thesis requires ample evidence that an NCAR scientist was involved in the thesis work and recognition by the home university of that involvement; except in unusual circumstances, the NCAR scientist must be a member of the student's thesis committee. Download a PDF file of the approval form for a Cooperative Thesis or contact NCAR Library, ext. 1175.
