| This imposing console was part of NCAR's electron paramagnetic resonance spectrometer, operated here in 1968 by Ellen Leisman, a visitor from Beloit College. The spectrometer was part of a photochemistry program run by Dick Cadle, division director of the Laboratory for Atmospheric Science. The program evolved into the Upper Air Project, Atmospheric Chemistry and Aeronomy Division, and finally the Atmospheric Chemistry Division. |
