| In March 1990, to help alleviate overcrowding, UCAR acquired the vacant NBI building--roughly the same size as ML--in northeast Boulder. Harriet Barker, then UCAR vice president for corporate affairs, helped plant a commemorative piñon pine at the formal dedication on 30 July 1992. |
