Instruments from beyond

"In spite of its lethal appearance," noted Staff Notes Monthly in February 1968, "this device is not a death ray invented by Baron Frankenstein and fabricated by Rube Goldberg." It's a particle camera, designed by Ted Cannon for taking pictures of water and ice particles with diameters as small as 10 micrometers. The device featured strobe lights and the body of a 35-millimeter camera.
