This photo was taken as Bob Serafin was beginning his NCAR career (along with David Bargen, former Research Systems Facility manager) in November 1973. Bob joined NCAR's Facilities Laboratory (now ATD) as manager of the Field Observing Facility. He plans to conclude 11 years as NCAR director early in 2000.
