WISP goes to Mt. Washington
|This colored-pencil drawing by Fairview High School student Stephanie Johansson was one of the standouts from last year's NCAR Student Art Showcase. During April, artwork from students throughout Boulder County will be on display in Galleries I and II of the Mesa Lab. The works in this juried show are keyed to this year's Earth Day theme at NCAR, "Celebration of Earth and Atmosphere." Also on display this month in the ML lobby is Diversity Endangered, a special exhibit from the Smithsonian Institution. The blend of text and 15 poster-sized images explores the current crisis in worldwide biological diversity and suggests ways in which people and society can make a difference.
