| L. Frank Baum may have been spinning in his grave this past Halloween. Human Resources took the occasion to recreate The Wizard of Oz in the Foothills Lab. A yellow brick road led down an FL2 corridor to the HR offices. Outside, the 1939 film was showing on video, next to a minireplica of Dorothy's house atop the Wicked Witch of the East. Inside the Emerald City were (below, clockwise from top left): Nancy Norris (Tin Man), Eron Brennan (The Wizard), Cheryl Cristanelli (Scarecrow), Karla Edwards (Glinda, the Good Witch), Delaine Orendorff (The Wicked Witch of the West), Terry Woods (Auntie Em), Colleen Clark (Dorothy), Cyd Perrone (Lollipop Kid), and Bob Roesch and Jocelyn Brown (Munchkins). Meanwhile, other FL residents who adopted alter egos for Halloween could be spied in the cafeteria--such as COMET's Kristi Gomez as a convincing Beetlejuice (left) and two unpictured, yet-to-be-identified gentlemen dressed as Beavis and Butt-head. |
