Eastern Colorado gets its share of tornadoes in June and July, but they don't usually look as bizarre as this one. NCAR photgrapher Bob Bumpas began with a photo he took of a Front Range tornado a few years back. Using Adobe Photoshop software, he then produced this surrealistic vortex.
