-----ESIG Teach-In 2: What's Wrong (or Right) with This Picture? This summer's second teach-in sponsored by the Environmental and Societal Impacts Group will provide UCAR staff with an opportunity to "interact" with a video presentation of scientists who challenge the proponents of global warming. "The Greenhouse Conspiracy," released by the British Broadcasting Corporation, attacks the science behind global warming research and the credibility of scientists who support the view that the global climate is changing as a result of an increase of atmospheric concentrations of greenhouse gases. This video will be shown at the teach-in and stopped at key moments, allowing those in the audience to comment on specific statements and interpretations in the video. The teach-in will take place in the Mesa Lab's Main Seminar Room on Tuesday, 16 August, from 10:00 a.m. till noon. All interested in this issue are invited to attend and to participate.
