A NOTE TO STAFF This Monday, 11 July, marked the beginning of UCAR's new comprehensive waste reduction program, Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. R3 is another example of the dedication and innovation of our staff in bringing UCAR to the forefront among Boulder companies in the wise use of our natural resources. R3 grew out of the Environmental Stewardship Program and joins TAP (Transportation Alternatives Program), the Green Lights Program (sponsored by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency), and the Wellness Program as part of our environmental stewardship efforts. We ask you to join with us in supporting this program through your active participation and encourage you to help us meet our goal of close to zero waste generated at UCAR. We believe that we can continue to be a community leader in environmental stewardship with your help.
