This photo of a 1963 balloon launch at the National Scientific Balloon Facility is one of many historical images that have recently been added to UCAR's online Digital Image Library. The library's photos show UCAR and NCAR field programs, research instruments, scientists at work, and more. UCAR Communications plans to add additional historical photos in coming months.
