Boxes got stacked everywhere when HAO moved to CG1 in mid-July. Staffers, more used to navigating the far regions of the Sun than an unfamiliar floor plan, relied on such landmarks as Foothills Parkway to the east of the building as they tried to orient themselves. A typical remark in the early days following the move was, “I know if I go to the highway and turn left, I’ll get back to my office.” As part of UCAR’s space plan, RAL and ESSL will move some of their staffers into HAO’s former offices in FL2.
