New jobs? Not exactly. The new hangar, which at 35,000 square feet will be almost double the size of the existing hangar, will be able to house two airplanes—including the NSF/NCAR High-performance Instrumented Airborne Platform for Environmental Research (HIAPER), scheduled to arrive in October 2004.
