In Beijing: Meetings on global change, monsoon meteorology, and impact of climate change on agriculture The Pacific Science Association (PSA) will hold its Eighteenth Quadrennial Congress in Beijing, PeopleÕs Republic of China, 5Ð12 June 1995. It will include six symposia and a number of scientific conferences and workshops on the main theme of ÒPopulation, Resources and Environments: Prospects and Initiatives.Ó One of the symposia will be on Global Climate and Environment Change. In addition, the PSA Scientific Committee on Meteorology and Atmospheric Sciences plans to sponsor the Conference on Asia- Pacific Monsoon Meteorology, and the Conference on Impacts of Climate Change on Agriculture Production in the Pacific Rim.
