UCAR Newsletter now available on Gopher

Beginning with this issue, features from the UCAR Newsletter will be 
accessible via Gopher, the Internet-based system that links computers 
around the globe, including those from many UCAR member 
institutions.  Gopher combines features of electronic bulletin board 
services and databases, allowing you to browse a hierarchy of 
documents.  The UCAR Newsletter will be in a folder entitled ÒNCAR-
UCAR News and InformationÓ on UCARÕs Gopher server.  Also in the 
folder are UCAR press releases, details on current UCAR job openings, 
and a three-week calendar of events.  People with log-ins to the NCAR 
computer ÒmeekerÓ can access Gopher by typing gopher.  To reach 
Gopher from other sites, contact your local system administrator.
