Large requests for CRAY time:
Deadline for submission is 14 January

The NCAR Scientific Computing Division (SCD) Advisory Panel, which will 
meet 24Š25 March 1994, reviews requests for time on the CRAY Y-MP that 
exceed 100 general accounting units (GAUs).  The panel will also review 
extension requests that cause a projectÕs total resource to exceed 100 GAUs.  
University users should submit these requests to John Adams of SCD by 
Friday, 14 January, to ensure enough time for preliminary review and 
preparation of panel materials.

Requests for 100 GAUs or less do not require panel review and may be 
submitted at any time.  These requests normally take four to six weeks to 
process.  Submit applications to John Adams, NCAR SCD.  Applicants may 
obtain computing request forms from Jana Jones.  See page 15.
