This year's Super Science Saturday will offer a morning of scientific presentations, featuring NCAR scientist Greg Thompson (Stormchasing) and CU's Richard Armstrong (Snow/Avalanches), and an afternoon of workshops for teachers and students grades 5-12. Workshop topics include photography, science demo design, environmental clay printing, and Web exploration. All morning events are open to the public. Students and teachers must register in advance for the afternoon workshops.
Public events for Super Science Saturday will also include NCAR science demonstrations and hands-on activities hosted by Collage Children's Museum, Science Discovery, and the Butterfly Pavilion. NCAR's exhibit and art galleries will be open to the public as usual.
