This
module introduces the basic features and classifications of clouds and cloud
cover, how clouds form and what they are made of, the role they play in determining
climate, and how they both cause and are affected by climate changes.
The module is divided into the following sections: Introduction, Clouds and Cloud Formation, Clouds and Climate, Conclusion, Questions and Projects, Appendix I: Cloud Patterns on Other Planets, Appendix II: The Energy of Clouds, Appendix III: How to Form a Cloud in a Bottle, Glossary, and Additional Reading Material.
