About UCAR / NCAR Archives
The UCAR / NCAR Archives collects, preserves and provides archival material and official records of the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research (UCAR), the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR), and the UCAR Office of Programs (UOP). The records document UCAR's administration and management of NCAR, NCAR's provision of a cooperative research environment for the atmospheric science community, and UOP's administrative and scientific activities. The archival material includes correspondence, data, logbooks, diaries, photographs, audio recordings, films, drawings, blueprints, and instrumentation that broadly document the history of NCAR and UCAR.
