Models

One of our key activities is modeling Earth systems and processes to better understand and predict their behavior. Models are complex mathematical descriptions of real-world phenomena that we run on computers and compare against real-world observations. Models enable us to continually refine our understanding of Earth systems and predict weather and climate.
